With another week of hard work now under our belts, it’s time to take a quick look back at what our talented team have been up to this month. We’ll start with a look at one of our most recently completed projects, a website for innovative shipware company Ship Shape Bedding.

Ship Shape Bedding
When sailing round the world on their very own yacht, Paul and Angela Hallatt realised there was a gap in the market for bedding that was specially designed with sailing in mind. Traditional duvets and sheets simply weren’t up to the job and so Ship Shape Bedding was born.
Today, the company offers a range of custom made mattresses, duvets and sheets as well as a choice of stylish galleyware products.
To cater to their growing client base, and showcase their great range of products, Ship Shape Bedding needed a modern, easy to use and attractive website, which is exactly where we came in.
Full featured ecommerce
As one of the main functions of the website is as a shop, it needed to have fully functional ecommerce capabilities. The shop that we built for Ship Shape Bedding is easy to use and clearly displays their different ranges and different products.
Customers can choose to have fabric swatches sent to their door, while custom options are available to ensure every buyer gets exactly what they’re looking for.
Front end and back end order management
To give both the owners of Ship Shape Bedding and their clients complete control over orders, we built the site to have both front and back end order management capabilities.
The owners of the site will be able to log in and see who’s bought what, while customers will be able to manage their orders from the front end of the site.
Warehouse shipping and stock control
To ensure products that are listed for sale on the site are always in stock, we built a stock control feature into the ecommerce site. This means that, when products are shipped from the warehouse to the customer, the number of products listed on the site automatically adjusts to reflect real life stock levels.
Invoicing
To lighten the admin load, the website will automatically invoice customers, ensuring that Ship Shape Bedding receives payment as quickly as possible.
